Step 1: Choose Your Challenge.

Most first-timers begin with the 28 Day Jumpstart. This is the first guide that includes a complete meal plan (3 meals per day, 7 days a week, for 4 weeks including snack and drink options!) as well as a workout guide with explanations and images of how to do each exercise. For those who are a little more experienced or have completed the first 28 day program, there is a second program called the Fitkini Challenge. This is similar to the first guide but it has different recipes and workouts that will keep things fresh and exciting. Both guides are vegetarian and gluten-free friendly and the workouts do not require a gym, equipment, or any prior experience! If you’re looking for even more alternative recipes, have no fear! The FitGirl team just released FitGirls Cook, a new clean eating cookbook with over 40+ new recipes.

Step 3: Create an Instagram Account
This Instagram account is the means through which you meet and communicate with the other ladies of the FitFamily. Many people create a separate account if they already have a personal account in order to keep all health and fitness posts in one place. It is important to keep this profile public so that other FitGirl participants can find you and see your progress. To find and connect with other girls, caption your posts using tags such as @fitgirlsguide or #28DayJumpstart, #FitGirlsGuide, etc. You can even hashtag #FitGirl______ inserting your city or state to find people in the same area as you.
