Kamee Knutson earned a B.S. degree in Viticulture and Enology from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. She launched her winemaking career in San Luis Obispo by working in the cellar, laboratory, and tasting room of Tolosa winery for three years before moving on in early 2006 as assistant winemaker for Courtside Cellars in San Miguel. In mid-2011, Kamee joined Monterey Wine Company in King City as assistant winemaker and brand winemaker. She remained in this position until mid-2013, when she was named Director of Winemaking for Agajanian Vineyards and Wine Company in Madera.

Kamee’s next position was in mid-2016 with E. & J. Gallo Winery as winemaker for its Central Coast operations. Some six years later, she was promoted to Burgundy senior winemaker for the Central Coast, Talbott, and Edna Valley vineyards.

Kamee is responsible for crafting Chardonnay and Pinot Noir using fruit from vineyards in the Santa Lucia Highlands. She has been making these wines for over two decades.
