Molly Lippitt
Michael Pozzan Wines (Consulting Winemaker)
Volker Eisele Family Estate (Winemaker)
Molly Lippitt was raised in the Sonoma Valley and has had a fascination with wine that started when she was very young. She marveled at the shiny fermentation tanks she saw when visiting her father, who was operations manager at Sebastiani Vineyards for over three decades. As fate would have it, her first job after completing her college degree, a B.A. in Biology from the University of San Diego, was at Sebastiani.
Subsequently, Molly was mentored by several noted winemakers, including Heidi Barrett, Philipe Melka, Mike Hirby, and Julien Fayard. Her experience includes being associate winemaker at Moone-Tsai Vineyards through 2011 and 2012, and assistant winemaker at Paradigm Winery from 2007 through 2010. She has also worked with Duckhorn Vineyards, Relic Wine Cellars, and Talisman Wines, and gained international experience at Whitehaven Vineyards in New Zealand.
Molly joined Volker Eisele Family Estate as winemaker in 2014. There, she crafts Cabernet Sauvignon and two proprietary blends, Terzetto and Gemini. She is also the consulting winemaker at Michael Pozzan Wines.
Molly resides in Sonoma Valley with her family. Besides making wine and spending time with her two children, she enjoys competitive running, tending her garden, and weaving.
