"The difference between theory and practice is larger in practice than the difference between theory and practice in theory." - Jan L. A. van de Snepscheut
My research interests lie in fluid mechanics. In collaboration with experimental groups, I often use analytical and numerical tools to investigate both fundamental problems in fluid mechanics and its applications in different areas. I am particularly interested in problems at the interface of biology and fluid mechanics. My current research interests include low-Reynolds-number locomotion, biological fluid mechanics, and complex fluid flows.
