Dynamics:
Green Sea Turtle Examples

  • The green sea turtle uses slow but strong movements to move itself.

4.1.3 Demonstrate increased range and use of space, time, and force/energy concepts (e.g., pulse/accents, melt/collapse, weak/strong).

  • The turtles travel on land and in the water. On land they use hurried, clumsy movements as a baby trying to get to the ocean. In the water they use more fluid, graceful movements and travel over more space with less effort.

6.1.1 Demonstrate focus, physical control, coordination, and accurate reproduction in performing locomotor and axial movement.
