The grey whale has two preditors: killer whales (orcinus orca) and humans.
Killer whales prey on grey whales because they have a lot of blubber. Killer whales especially like the "meaty" tounges of the grey whales.
Humans have been whaling (hunting whales) since the time of the Native Americans. Fortunately, in the 20th century there are laws against whaling. Now scientists are seeing a re-growth of the grey whale population.
