Evyn Cameron

Une Femme Wine (Director of Winemaking)

Evyn Cameron is a native of Wyckoff, New Jersey, and earned a B.S. degree in 2008 at Boston University, majoring in Hospitality Administration. She started her professional career in Manhattan, working “Front of the House” for one year at Per Se, a Thomas Keller restaurant there. But she longed for a career in the wine industry, which prompted a move to Napa in 2009.

Evyn started her journey to becoming a winemaker at White Rock Vineyards in January, 2010, where she was a production assistant for four months. This was followed by short stints of several months interning at Saintsbury and Seavey Winery in the Napa Valley, and at Carrick Winery & Vineyards in the Central Otago region of New Zealand. By mid-2011, she was at Cliff Lede Vineyards as its enologist. Evyn moved to Anaba Wines as its assistant winemaker in the fall of 2014, where she remained until accepting a position as associate winemaker at Crocker & Starr in 2017. She was promoted to winemaker there in late 2018, but left in 2022 to focus on consulting.

Currently, Evyn is enjoying the next adventure in her career by consulting on four different wine brands located in Napa Valley, including Inner Circle in Calistoga, and creating a brand of her own. Somehow or other, she manages to find the time to be the head winemaker for the Une Femme organization as well.

Evyn tends her large backyard garden, cooking, playing with Pepper, her Springer Lab/Queensland Heeler dog, exploring nature with Cari, her wife, and raising their child.
