Naked Wines (Winemaker)

Jacqueline Bahue started her career in winemaking by earning a B.S. degree in Viticulture and Enology at the University of California, Davis, in 2009. Subsequent to her formal education, she gained practical experience at wineries in Italy, Spain, and New Zealand as well as throughout Northern California.

She spent two years as the assistant winemaker for Girard Winery in Yountville before joining Vintage Wine Estates as winemaker in 2010. Leaving there in mid-2012, Jacqueline then became the production winemaker for Naked Wines and was named Director of Winemaking for the firm in early 2013. She has held the title of “Angel-funded Winemaker” since late 2016, and offers several of her varietals, including Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Franc, through Naked Wines.

Jacqueline, along with her spouse, founded Person Wine Company in 2017. They are crafting a variety of sparkling wines that are sold under the Carboniste label.
