Krisi Raymond

Five Vintners Wines (Winemaker & Owner)

Krisi Raymond is the daughter of Walter and Geraldine Raymond, and as the great-great granddaughter of Jacob Beringer, she represents the fifth generation of Napa Valley’s oldest winemaking family. Krisi started working at the winery when she was just 10 years old. She graduated from Santa Catalina School in Monterey, CA, and then attended Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. She earned her M.B.A. from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, before returning to Raymond Vineyard & Cellar in a national sales position in 1997. She was able to direct her career back to the cellar during the 2001 harvest, when she began working with the winemaking team in the lab and cellar.

In 2001, Krisi stepped out on her own as a grape grower and winemaker and established Five Vintners Wines. With just one acre planted to organically-grown Sauvignon Blanc and using fruit from a handful of select grape growers, she produces fine Napa Valley wines. Krisi focuses on her favorite varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, and Sauvignon Blanc.

Kristi and her family live in Napa Valley.
