Special Thanks

To all of the exonerees and their families for generously sharing their stories through interviews.

To all of the primary collaborators for Barred from Life -- Bob Fraser, James Linehan, Joanne Martin, Steve Stampley, and especially True Rosaschi. True worked tirelessly on creating multiple versions of the musical score for this work. Our collaboration has occurred entirely over the web as True, a native Californian, now lives with his wife in Vilnius, Lithuania. His many late night conversations (midday in CA), and technical savvy have allowed this international collaboration to come to fruition. Due to the prohibitive cost of travel he was unable to attend the premiere performances.

Special thanks to all of our colleagues in the Center of Performing Arts and the Northern California Innocence Project for their support of this project. We especially appreciate the extra time spent by Lisa Rademacher, Robin Jigour, Joanne Martin, Aldo Billingslea, Barb Fraser, David Sword, Mark Monday, Barbara Murray, Jerry Enos, Carolyn Silberman, Katie Thies, Linda Starr, Sandy Lichau, and Danny Mastrangelo.

"And I said, 'What is this all about?' You know, and he said 'Well, a girl has been killed.' - They just wanted to talk to him is what they told me, but there was a feeling that went through me - a very cold feeling. It was like, 'something is wrong here.'"

- MYRTLE WALKER - mother of Rick Walker
