Lisa Laudeman

AnanTaah (Winemaker & Owner)

Lisa Laudeman formal educational background is unusual for someone who is a winemaker. She earned a bachelor's degree in Communications from California State University, Fullerton, and followed it with an M.S. degree in Public Relations from San Jose State University. A move to Napa Valley in 1987 led to her working for different wineries in various capacities and thereby fulfilling her interest in the art and science of creating wines that withstand the test of time.

Her dream of producing her own wine prompted months of discussions with a lifelong friend, Patricia Jeffries, that began in 2008. The ultimate result was creation of AnanTaah. As is often the case, Lisa and Patricia found invaluable support from others from the winemaking community as they developed their own winery.

Lisa uses fruit from Spring Mountain in the Napa Valley to produce her Cabernet Sauvignon and also makes a proprietary red blend. Her hands-on approach to winemaking means that she's involved in every step of the process, from when the grapes are on the vine to when the wine is in the bottle.

Lisa enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, riding her bike in the Napa Valley, and traveling to exotic islands for scuba diving.
