Diversity

Even though the entire United States, from East Coast to West, is one country and primarily speaks the same language, there are incredible culture differences between various states.  My mother was from a small town in Idaho where everyone knew each other, while my father was born in Brooklyn, New York, just a short bridge away from the country’s biggest city.  Despite their differing upbringings and hometowns, my parents found commonalities in each other.  They raised me with appreciation for nature and its beauty, as well as metropolitan life and its wonders.  It is because of these two passions that I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington which has the best of both worlds.
