Don Wagner Don began walking a bit late, at about a year and a half, but after sixty-one years of practice, now walks fairly well. Running followed naturally, but aside from the context of games, which he loves, he thinks it's to be avoided. Dance, well let's just say that rock'n'roll, the free-for-all variety, arrived on the scene in the nick of time to accommodate Don's inimitable and, some might say, unmanageable style. In contrast, both Katie, his 35 year-old daughter, and Christopher, his 20 year-old son, walked early, think that running is OK, and have a talent for dance, even the choreographed variety, that Don holds in awe. He is grateful to have fathered them and feels privileged at being an intimate witness to their lives. He dedicates his performance to them. |
