Since students have different backgrounds coming into Math 61, it seems appropriate to speak about C++ classes with member functions specially, since they are the way that the book (Ford and Topp) uses to present topics. For those students whose course in C++ did include classes and member functions, this serves as a brief review. For those whose course in C++ did include classes but did not include member functions, this serves as the introduction to that topic.

Those who need a more intensive review of the concept of C++ classes are recommended to review Notes N14 for Math 10.

Others should refer to Notes N15 for Math 10.
