Academic and Research Interests

My general area of interest is Computer Science and my area of research is Numerical Analysis, specifically, iterative solutions of large, sparse linear systems.

Personal Overview

I am a member of the Society of Jesus (also known as the "Jesuits"), a Roman Catholic religious order, widely known, among other things, for its educational institutions in the United States. I became a member of the Jesuits in 1969, after graduating from Santa Clara University, and was ordained a Catholic priest in 1979. Information on the Jesuit Community at Santa Clara University and the U.S. West Province of Jesuits is available as well.

When I'm not busy teaching Calculus or Computer Science, I dabble in the wonders of Christian liturgy, both western and eastern.
