Take me home Culture Unique foods Ruins	I decided to use the country of Peru as my topic for my website because I feel like that aspect of my being is what makes me a unique individual. It’s not everyday that you meet an individual of South American descent, much less a Peruvian. Not many people know about Peru; as I said on my website, it’s just recently gotten a surge of tourists, and I feel like more people should be aware of what this country has to offer. I set up my design in a really simple and easily navigable way because I felt like if the webpage were too complicated or too intricate that it would take away from the subject matter. I went onto this website and from there I saw a variety of things that served as inspirations, one of which being nature. Peru has a lot of really interesting parts of nature in it, and that helped me design my website. This website also guided me to look at aspects of the city and architecture to inspire me for my website. Peru’s major city, Lima, is definitely one of a kind and it has a lot of really interesting historical buildings. The goal of my website was just to give people a little taste of what Peru really is because many people see it as a terribly poor country with not much to offer. However, I know the real Peru because I’ve been there multiple times and I know that it is a place with so much to offer and so much to teach the rest of the world. I just want people to know and be able to experience what I do.
