When the Incas built their cities and temples, they discovered ways to perfectly cut enormous stones in ways that they would fit perfectly together. Scientists discovered that the stones fit so well together that it is impossible to fit items as thin as a sheet of paper between two stones. Such excellent masonry skills have created ruins that are still in excellent condition like Machu Picchu and Sacsayhuaman.
