LUCHA |

At LUCHA you can work alongside teachers in their classrooms to encourage a diverse group of students to excel in their educational pursuits. |

Volunteer information:
Meeting Time: Volunteers can volunteer with LUCHA during any 2-hour period between 8am to 3pm MTWF and 8am-1pm on Thursdays.
Social aspect: LUCHA is a good program to do individually, or with one other person. This is also a great opportunity to make a new friend at SCU who you can go to LUCHA with!
Ideal Volunteer: A regular volunteer is the best, because the teachers really value the volunteer's time commitment each week. (That means that the volunteers get a ton of time working with children!) We work with elementary school kids, so a general liking towards children is preferable. If you don't have that general liking, the LUCHA kids will change that for you! Also, extroverted, introverted, and generally verted volunteers are welcome! |
