I would like to become an equine vet. I am currently studying biology as an undergraduate. It can be a very difficult and stressful major at times. Without the support of my family and friends I don't think I would be able to handle it. Vet School is a very competitive field. There are fewer Vet Schools than Medical Schools so it can be harder to get into. Also, in order to specialize in an animal like a horse, one must complete six years of schooling after an undergraduate education. But when I start thinking about how much work I will have to do in the future and how hard it will be, I try to remind myself about how great my family and friends are, and this is what keeps me going.
