The educators promise

“Learn as though you would never be able to master it; Hold it as though you would be in fear of losing it” Confucius

The necesity for some sort of promise or oath taken by all kinds of upcoming educators is desperately needed in our times. Being in charge of the future genartaion's education is something of major importance and relavance to the well being of a nation, even to mankind as a whole. But even though its not too hard to see the importance of training and stimulating the minds of the young, the act of teaching is still to this very day considered as a "risky" job, or what is considered to be a career of serivce, in which one cannot be expected to make much money. As the bumper sticker says, "if you can read, thank a teacher", but maybe its not recognition what teachers need, diligence, dignity and perseverance should be some of the values imbeded within the soul of a teacher.
