  SCU EMS serves an important purpose in the community by providing free medical services to campus residents. However, there are many common misconceptions about SCU EMS’ role on-campus such as their involvement in disciplinary actions and/or extent of medical treatment. These common misconceptions prevent the students of SCU from utilizing SCU EMS to its full potential, especially in cases involving alcohol poisoning.
