Second Life

It was interesting how I immediately selected my character to be female by default when I could have been whatever I wanted to be. Even with the multiple possibilities for body types and styles, I chose to be a thin, tall female avatar with flaming red hair and super tight clothes. Usually I don't like to think I fall into stereotypical aspects of being a girl, but clearly I do.

For our class we were asked to create a video using Second Life. It was frustrating because it was difficult to get all of the supplys we needed and to find the sets. Unfortunately the video we created was pulled off of YouTube so I have a subsitute video that follows the theme of gender and gaming online.
