Physicians are not the only group with the ability to contribute their skills or other assets towards diminishing the boundaries standing between lower income families and health care. Other medical professionals as well as any individuals interested in the medical field can help provide access to these services through volunteer work and also donating money. Federal funds are somewhat limited when it comes to healthcare services.
