Second life, like real life has the problem of rape. In a virtual community which allows you create actions and use them on other people, the rape action inevitably was created. Like the real world, Second Life rapes are perpetrated on female avatars at a much higher rate. There is a hyper-sexualization of males as well as females in Second Life. Bodies that would take people countless hours and/or dollars to achieve in real life, are at their fingertips on Second Life. So, why not increase breast size, or the size or ones biceps? There is no answer to that question, so in Second Life there is definitely an overt hyper-sexualization that stems from the avatars themselves.
