Like the Romantic Era or the Enlightenment, the shift into Internet Culture can be seen as a historical movement.

As with any historical movement, the majority of the population and culture falls into the middle of the movement, and there are always those at the forefront, as well as those who push back in an attempt to reject the overwhelming surge forward.

Historical movements change the way we think and act. We see the world differently and therefore participate differently.
