I created this video as a commentary on the demise of the newspaper industry. I wanted to show the personal connection that I feel with this issue. As a soon to be college graduate, it is difficult to find work in the news industry; however I still have faith in print media, and media as a whole. I wanted this video to speak to others in my situation who are "in-between." Young people who are passionate about braodcast or print and are at the age where their dreams are changing in order to reflect the options avaliable to them.

The idea for a "Newspaper Safari" came to me when I realized that many houses in my neighborhood were not getting the paper delivered on a daily basis. I wanted to take a look at the number of houses still getting the paper delivered versus those that weren't in order to highlight this dying tradition.
