What I learned:

This project is completely different from any others I have experienced. I have been involved in video production projects before; however I have always world with live actors or still footage.

Creating a movie in Secod Life took a great deal of organization and planning. Completeing a project of this magnitude first took a few hours to get accustomed to the happenings of the virtual community. Once I became familar with the community, locations, gadgets, stores, and animations, preparing the characters for filming became less time consuming.

Our first attempts at filming took entirely too long. The initial scene took my group several hours to shoot. Once we got the hang of filming and movie the characters around the actual filming process began to take less time.

As a group we knew that we wanted to try and make as realistic of a movie as possible. Getting the right music and sound effects became very important to us. We edited the Final movie using iMovie and used Final Cut to adjust some of the volumes. We began to get creative with some of the scenes (the boat scene in particular) in order to stick as close to the original screenplay as possible.

Our group worked well as a team and we are very proud of the final project. Watch and Enjoy!
